Greenville Review: Ford + Shep

I had one of my favorite dining experiences this past weekend in Greenville, North Carolina. Uptown Greenville has exploded over the past several months - local restaurants, new apartment complexes, lofts, and other businesses are finding new homes within the area. Greenville is becoming a diversity of thriving local businesses. It has been neat to witness the progress made in revitalizing my hometown. Ford + Shep, one of the new restaurants off of Dickinson Avenue, gives you an experience where you no longer feel like you're eating in Greenville. The modern, chic space mimics that of a Charleston restaurant. We were very impressed by the creative cocktails and friendly, professional wait staff. From the cocktail menu, I ordered the Borage Strawberry Punch, and it was one of the most tasteful cocktails I've ever had. F+S also has many local craft beers to choose from, which was a plus for my hubby. Y'all, the food... A party of six, our dishes were garnished and prepared in such a way that each one was it's own masterpiece. Not to mention, they tasted even better than they looked. I ordered the pork loin which came with greens and fingerling potatoes. The meat was topped with honey and some other spices. It was delicious! All in all, our experience was a 10/10. Our party unanimously agreed that we would most definitely be going back in the near future!
